Born of static, breathing neon, raised on distortion, Sneakernet generates electronic-industrial sounds for all who receive. Based in Atlanta and spearheaded by the eponymous Sneakernet, the project oscillates between thematic music for streaming media (more John Carpenter than John Williams) and electronic music for the digital demons that consume it. The project’s music can be heard in several award-winning actual play streams and audio dramas, with the track “FIGHT FOR GAIA” receiving a Crit Award nomination in 2024.
