Eric Jafet

Bio

Eric Jafet is a musician from Orlando, Florida. Eric writes and produces all of his own music, sings, and plays every instrument. From a young age, he spent most of his time playing instruments, writing songs and honing his craft. His broad musical influences include Prince, David Bowie, Nirvana, Muse, Van Halen, Michael Jackson, Frankie Valli, The Rolling Stones, and more. At 14 years old, he got a chance to play at the legendary Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles with Dizzy Reed (Guns N’ Roses) and Alex Grossi (Quiet Riot), and after this experience his life was never the same. In 2017 while recording, Eric ran into one of his heroes, Dave Grohl. Dave sat down with Eric, and gave him the advice he needed to forge a path forward. He spent the next years relentlessly crafting his sound, obsessed and writing music every day until his debut release, Pretty Sick of It, during the pandemic in 2020. The original version of Eric’s debut 80’s-influenced single Anxiety was written and recorded in his bedroom, and arrived on January 1st, 2021. Eric’s unrelenting follow up demo-single Lights Out was released on July 21st, 2021. The song explores love in the digital age, and the intense and disconnected experiences felt by the first generation raised online. The upcoming EP’s first single Toxic Relationship, which was also Jafet’s first music video, was released in the summer of 2022. After the release of the follow-up single Vampire, his full length EP “Destroy” released in summer of 2023. In support of the EP, Jafet completed his first headlining tour around the state of Florida, as well as supporting Quiet Riot, Makeout, sace6, and Lil Lotus on their respective tours in the state. Eric looks to an exciting 2024, bringing his unique brand of stadium rock to the rest of the United States.
